Despu\u00e9s de cinco a\u00f1os, el Festival Kampa Yohualichan \u2013 to xolalmej ilhuitij (\u201cen Yohualichan nuestros pueblos est\u00e1n de fiesta\u201d) volvi\u00f3 a celebrarse el 16 de agosto de 2025, en la plaza principal de la Zona Arqueol\u00f3gica de Yohualichan, un emblem\u00e1tico sitio ceremonial totonaca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e1s de 1,500 danzantes de comunidades ind\u00edgenas, principalmente de la Sierra Norte de Puebla, compartieron su cultura a trav\u00e9s de danzas, rituales y m\u00fasica en vivo de tr\u00edos huapangueros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se presentaron danzas tradicionales como Voladores, Quetzales, Negritos y Santiagos, acompa\u00f1adas de conferencias sobre su significado. Adem\u00e1s, se cont\u00f3 con un corredor artesanal y gastron\u00f3mico, generando una derrama econ\u00f3mica aproximada de 30 millones de pesos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El festival fue inaugurado y acompa\u00f1ado por el Presidente Municipal Oscar Paula Cruz, la Secretaria de Cultura Alejandra Pacheco Mex, la Directora de Promoci\u00f3n y Relaciones P\u00fablicas de la Secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Tur\u00edstico, Fernanda Dom\u00ednguez, y la Diputada Ang\u00e9lica Patricia Alvarado Ju\u00e1rez, quienes resaltaron la importancia de preservar la identidad cultural de Cuetzalan, Pueblo M\u00e1gico.Yohualichan: la casa de la noche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El nombre Yohualichan significa \u201ccasa de la noche\u201d en n\u00e1huatl, en referencia a las cavernas del lugar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fue uno de los primeros asentamientos totonacas, asociado con El Taj\u00edn, y alcanz\u00f3 su apogeo alrededor del a\u00f1o 600 d.C. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su arquitectura incluye plataformas piramidales con nichos, un gran juego de pelota y edificios ceremoniales como el Edificio Oeste y el de las Grecas.Ubicado a 12 km de Cuetzalan, el sitio es accesible por camino empedrado y sigue siendo un espacio para revivir, valorar y preservar las tradiciones y espiritualidad ancestral de las comunidades originarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
